hey, the main site has been somewhat delayed due to my hectic schedule and laziness
does anyone have any suggestions for sections/content they'd like included??
and does anyone want to contribute to the site in anyway? i had a ton of interest from people a while back but have forgotten who they all were heh
Just realised I left my plan at home but off the top of my head the main site will have:
event photos
interviews / reviews
local profiles with sub sections: djs/producers/promoters/VJs
competitions
links
monthly top 5 or 10 tunes - done by local DJs
store/ tickets - this will prob happen bit later on

Also this is one for the promoters, once I get a bit more organised..
For somewhere around $5 you will be able to advertise your upcoming gig on here using a animated banner (prob at the top of the site & forum). I'll even make it for you if you don't know how & can supply me with the flyer artwork.
this will help me fund the cost to run & keep the site going, and provide you guys with some good & easy advertising for your gig

Hey why does it take you to the first page of the thread when you click the thread on the front page? ie, you don't click into the section but the latest thread that someone has posted in that section it takes you to page 1 of the thread. Shouldn't it take you to the last page?
No biggie.
Oh, I'm on a PC (ew) using Firefox, but pretty sure it does that on my Macs at home too.

inthemix doesn't do that, you have to actually click on Page 3 to go to it

Hey Kim.
I'm a photographer keen to get my gear into a club and take some shots.
But I'm not sure many clubs will let me in with all my gear (it doesn't fit in my pocket) and I'm not sure how keen I am to baby sit a small cars worth of equipment at a gig, unless I could put it somewhere where it's safety was all but guaranteed.
Any advice/or experience with doing this would be really appreciated.

On a suggestion front...links to mixes/tracks by local dj's.
Maybe a top 5 or something for the week based on traffic generated from each track.
(I'm assuming you don't want to host the actual files as this could get expensive quickly)
Maybe a place for advertisers of more than just gigs.
DJ gear, clothing, penis enlargement supplements.....
