Host an electronic music radio show on BayFM byron community radio sunday nights called 'The Freq Consortium' where i play experimental stuff, dubstep, techno, breaks, idm, occasionally if it fits in with the vibe some dnb ... although i have been known to do a dnb special show once in a while

Hello, my name is Theodor. I am 19 years old and I'm from Estonia(Euwope), but for the last three and a half years I've been living in Finland. I found this forum by browsing the internetz to get some info about the Australian drum and bass/dubstep scene. I myself listen to both, mostly drum and bass. The reason why I'm interested in Australian drum and bass and dubstep scenes is because me and my friend want to come to Australia in a few years. And the reason why I registered on this specific forum is because Brisbane is the place that appeals to us the most from all the Australian cities. I hope you won't mind me lurking in here till I come to Australia and participate in the gigs that you guys and gals are organizing. Big up!

Hi all.

I'm not from NZ, sorry German born (sorry about the war) Aussie.
My name's Steve. I also go by MisterMilkman or McGeve. MisterMilkman = Long story and not a great one, let's just pretend it's sexual. McGeve = Well... it rhymes with Steve.

I've been going to electronic gigs since I was 14, got over trance and hard dance quickly, and into DnB when I first saw Human Traffic at 15. Something died in me when I heard pendulum's second album and my interest in Dubstep and other interesting beats took over.

At this very moment I'm listening to bassnectar, laughing at this >  and eating mi goreng for dinner.

I work casually at coles supermarket and have only remnants of a soul left because of it. To keep sane I am currently planning a massive party at Uber (Westend) in early June called GEMINI, which I will post up here as soon as the last act is confirmed.
Someone give me a job! *cough* Times is tough...

I'd like to thank Delahaye, Erther, and Kranky for this space. Dankmorass for the sick parties. and everyone else for keeping it real and their contributions to the scene.

Hey everyone i'm Russ, 24 y.o from Hobart (I have 3 heads before you ask!). Coming from a predominantly hip hop background, my love for broken beats naturally progressed over time. I have been playing records for a couple of years and now mainly concentrate on drum and bass. Really getting into Glitch Hop and some Dubstep the last few months, nice for something different! I'm John and I go under the name Herts Solvent and here's why... The Herts part I use for music, I have been messing about with electronic music ever since I hooked up with the Puzahki crew about 5 years ago and have just started learning how to mix. I also do photography/design shit so the Solvent part covers that. Boring but yeah I guess it makes sense. hi guys.
getting back into the rave scene after many years of absence, and I feel so ill equipped, all the names on the flyers mean absolutely nothing, the $400 pants ravers are wearing stupefys me and the loss of Adventjah, Sytem6 etc saddens me.

I'm a bit older, definitely more sarcastic and bitter than I used to be.
I don't mix or produce, unless you count the occasional drum/bass line in fruityloops production.

Photographer is my profession, although it's borderline struggling artist really.

Looking to meet some cool new people, to introduce me to dnb/breaks in Brisbane.
All my friends are shit, I need new ones.
(well ok, not all of them)
Not one of them will come to the Step Inn, which I haven't been to but I see most dnb things hosted there, so it must be the place.
I will be going there this Friday, by myself if i have to.

Hello every one..
I am a DJ / Producer / Audio Engineer... I have had 14 yrs+ DJ-ing around the UK and later Australia. Was involved in the free party scene in and around south Wales (UK) then moving into clubs in south Wales, Bristol & London. I have been producing Dubstep, Breakbeat, Drum & Bass and recording artists in the studio for past 2.5 yrs whilst also gaining my Audio Engineering degree in NNSW Australia and have moved over here also. Am looking to connect with others with the same enjoyment of phat basslines and broken beats..

Yo all.
Im CRUZ one half of a Dubstep duo, Vman & Cruz ... Rising out of Sydney but now residing in Northern NSW we lead a mission to deliver pure offensive high energy Dubstep.... In the past we have played at VOID supporting Rusko, Deadbeat, Truth, Kito and The Others..
On 2 occasions we have supported London Elektricity @ Sydneys infamous DnB event Bass Drop and this year we have a 2 hour showcase at Splendour in the Grass...
Well keen to get behind the brissy dubstep scene and give it a big push forward... Loving this site you guys have set up here... Great for sending our the feelers to see whats going on in other cities!!
